Localizing text
LocalizedTextResolver
The LocalizedTextResolver
can be used to localize text snippets.
A text snippet can either be the final text, or a message code construct.
If the snippet is a message code construct, the message code will be resolved and the return value used.
Otherwise the original text will be used.
This makes the LocalizedTextResolver
useful for integrating with previously existing code where fixed text has been provided.
LocalizedTextResolver is a simple generic interface.
You could easily plug in another implementation by registering another implementation as the primary bean.

Examples of text snippet resolving
-
Some text will always return Some text
-
#{message.code} will resolve message.code and either return the resolved message or the unresolved code
-
#{message.code=Default message} will resolve message.code and return the resolved message or Default message if unresolvable
